CSU Accessible Document Training WebAIM

Format: Independent-study, video-based online course

This training course is available to all CSU employees, and it provides the core fundamentals for creating accessible Word and PowerPoint documents as well as some high-level best practices in regards to PDF documents. An optional Excel module has been added to the course.

Format: Virtual training (Zoom sessions)

This training is a high-level introduction to accessibility guidelines and principles, and processes used in Word, PowerPoint, & Acrobat Pro DC. Over the course of two 2-hour sessions, you will review the basics needed to meet legal requirements for electronic documents.

Format: Virtual Training (Zoom sessions)

This 2-hour training is a high-level introduction to accessibility guidelines and principles, and processes used to create content with a built-in editor.

  • Introduction to web accessibility
  • Images and alternative text (including complex images/charts)
  • Common techniques in content editors (headings, tables, lists, links, color)
