ATI Annual Reports: Instructions and Reporting Tools

DUE: November 30, 2010

The ATI Staff, working in collaboration with workgroups from all 3 ATI priority areas, have finalized the Annual Reports for Academic Year 09-10. These reports, which are required pursuant to Coded Memo AA-2010-13, will be used to identify and highlight best practices, match requests for assistance with appropriate resources from ATI staff and other campuses, align ATI projects with demonstrated campus needs, and generate system-wide reporting on the overall state of technology accessibility across the CSU.

The ATI staff will be conducted webinars during the month of August to introduce the Annual Reports to all ATI constituent groups. In the interim, below is a list of key facts regarding these reports:

1. The structure and content of this year's report is quite similar to that of last year's self-assessment. This should allow an appraisal of progress across both reporting years and across campuses.

2. As outlined in Coded Memo AA-2010-13, these Annual Reports are due by November 30, 2010.

3. This year's Annual Report will be submitted via a web application to be launched no less than 1 month prior to the submission deadline. Annual Report templates for each ATI Priority Area have been posted to the ATI Moodle site in Word format for the purpose of allowing campuses to collect relevant data and draft preliminary responses.

Change Summary

Last year's assessment was used as a prototype for this year's report. All changes made to the reports are listed on the Change Summary. There is supplemental information for the Web Report at the ATI Web Report:Changes from Assessment link listed below.

Errata

Based on campus feedback we are releasing new versions of the ATI Annual Reports. There were faulty drop down boxes on the initial reports. This drop down box error has been fixed, please use Revision 1.1.

Also, the drop down boxes do not work well with Mac or screen readers. Mac and screen reader users should use the version that states there are no form fields. The content of all three reports remains exactly the same as the initial version.

ATI Accessibility Issues

The CO ATI team in conjunction with the Center for Usability, Design, and Accessibility (CUDA) will review and present findings for accessibility issues that affect CSU campuses. A report on Accessibility of Campus Email Systems is currently available. Use the link under Accessible Technology to reach the report. The report is publicly available.

You may submit comments or additional information to the discussion forum on the Accessibility Issue page. You must have a Moodle account to participate in the discussion. If you need a Moodle account, please contact us at ati@calstate.edu.
